FAB Professional is designed for sheet metal manufacturers to automate the programming of CNC turret punch presses and cutting machines including laser, plasma, and waterjet machines. Fully integrated with AutoCAD 2011, FAB Professional addresses all aspects of the sheet metal fabrication process from a seamless CAD/CAM environment. Users can design and unfold parts, automatically create nested layouts, and generate optimized NC code all from within AutoCAD 2011.

With FAB Professional’s unique PARTshare option, Inventor users can automatically extract individual sheet metal parts or entire assemblies along with supporting manufacturing data. These parts are immediately available for nesting, and an advanced revision control systems insures that the correct parts are being manufactured. Nested parts are automatically sorted into nest jobs of like materials, and routing codes can automate the distribution of nested layouts to the desired CNC machines.

FAB Professional 2011 is fully scalable, adapting easily from the smallest job shop to the largest production operation. Production orders can be manually entered or driven by FAB Professional’s interface with standard MRP, ERP, and other scheduling software. Virtually all CNC fabrication machines are supported, including those with advanced loading, unloading, and part sorting systems.
