With the release of the 2008 versions of the Striker Systems metal forming and fabrication solutions, all Striker Systems software products are now available for Windows Vista. This includes the FAB Professional, FabCAD Professional, and DIE Professional product families.

The Release 2008 Striker Systems products include many new features and performance enhancements. In addition, a complete implementation and structural upgrade now takes advantage of the security and organizational features of the Windows Vista operating system.

The Striker Systems 2008 Release also supports the Microsoft Windows® XP and Windows® 2000 operating systems. Current Striker Systems customers upgrading to Release 2008 are not required to upgrade to Windows Vista. However, current Striker Systems customers wanting to upgrade to Windows Vista must also upgrade their Striker Systems products to Release 2008.
