SYSTEMS RELEASES PROGRAMMING MODULE FOR MURATA WIEDEMANN FG-1250 CELL LOADER
|
WHITE
HOUSE, Tennessee – June 20, 2000 –
Striker Systems today announced the release of Fab Professional version 15.1c
now offering support of the Murata Wiedemann FG-1250 Cell Loader system.
The FG-1250 Cell Loader uses an advanced servo drive system to
provide micro-joint less parts production.
As parts are automatically removed from the turret punch press they are stacked
by the FG-1250 and can be sorted based on specific manufacturing needs.
As each sheet completes processing the sheet skeleton is disposed of
prior to the loading of the next sheet.
Striker’s Fab Professional software automates the programming of the FG-1250
taking full advantage of its productivity features.
The part removal pads are automatically positioned and graphically
represented on each part showing the optimal pickup configuration based on
center of gravity and cutoff hit. The
programmer can graphically review the automatic part removal recommendations
and accept or make adjustments as desired.
Fab Professional’s support of the FG-1250 is designed to work with single
parts, gridded parts, or multi-part nested sheets.
“We’ve seen enhanced interest recently in automated cells such as
the FG-1250 Cell Loader offered by Murata Wiedemann,” states Michael Boggs,
Striker Systems’ Marketing Director.
“We expect this interest to build so Striker Systems will continue to invest
heavily in the support of this technology to insure we remain in the forefront
of sheet metal manufacturing automation.”
To demonstrate the support of the FG-1250 Cell Loader, Striker
Systems has developed a multi-media demonstration CD showing the entire
programming process. For
additional information on Fab Professional and its support of the Murata
Wiedemann FG-1250 Cell Loader or for a free demonstration CD, contact Striker
